It was a normal night in the Mushroom Kingdom, and no, Princess Peach wasn't kidnapped... well she was, but not anymore. Anyway, the Mario Brothers were getting ready for bed. They changed into their pajamas, brushed their teeth, and entered the room they shared.
"Whew, I thought this day would never end," sighed Mario, putting his hat on his dresser.
"Yeah, first Peach gets kidnapped, then we get lost in Bowser's dugeon for hours, then we almost get killed. This wasn't the best day ever," Luigi agreed.
"I'm just glad it's over. Hey, what time is it anyway?"
Luigi looked at the alarm clock next to his bed.
"It's only 9:28," he answered.
"Really? It feels later than that...hmm. So, do you want to do something to pass the time?"
"Um, okay, what do you want to do?"
Mario shrugged. "I don't know, maybe we can..." The plumber than paused for a moment. Then he stared at his brother for a few seconds and smirked, making the younger plumber feel unconfortable. Before he could even think about running away, Mario pinned him to the ground.
"Mario! Please get off me!" Luigi shouted
"Why are you so nervous, Luigi?" Mario asked.
"None of your business, Mario! Now please get off me!"
"What's bugging you?"
Luigi was both scared and completely annoyed. "I said NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!"
"Are you worried that I'm gonna tickle you?" Mario asked.
Mario placed a hand on his brother's should and smiled. "Hey don't worry, Little Bro."
"Y-You weren't going to tickle me?" Luigi asked nervously. But then he calmed down. "Oh, thank goodness. You almost had me there."
"No, I was going to," snickered Mario. "I just didn't want you to be nervous."
"Oh Mario, please no!"
Mario ignored him and pulled the shirt of his pajamas up. He then wiggled his fingers on his brother's belly.
"Mario! Stohahahahahahahahahaha. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!" giggled Luigi, struggling to get out of his brother's grip.
"Luigi, I just started. I'm not just gonna stop," Mario smirked.
Mario pretended to think about it.
"Hmm... let me think... nah!" the older plumber said, before he moved to Luigi's sides, increasing his laughter.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! NO! MARIO STOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!" Luigi shouted.
"Luigi, it's not my fault you're even more ticklish than I am," laughed Mario.
"STOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP IT! PLEASE! KNOCK IT OFF! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
"You're so cute when you laugh! I think I'll kick it up a notch!"
Mario then began blowing raspberries on his brother's belly. Luigi's laughter grew louder as it tickled him so much.
"OH MAMMA MIA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! QUIT IT! IT TICKLES SO MUCH! HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Mario then began to tickle his belly button.
"NOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO! STOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I CAN'T BREHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEATHE!"
Seeing that his little brother couldn't take it anymore, Mario stopped tickling Luigi, letting him breathe.
"Now that wasn't so bad, was it, Little Bro?" Mario asked.
"N-Not... f-for me..." Luigi panted while standing up. "Now, if y-you... excuse me, I-I need to... wash t-the sweat off me f-face..."
Luigi walked slowly out the bedroom and to the bathroom to splash his face with cold water. Once he was done and was about to leave the bathroom, something on the bathroom shelf caught his eye. It was the same long white feather Daisy used to tickle him. She must have left it here by mistake. Before Luigi grabbed it, he noticed that it was next to an electric toothbrush, which was still in it's box. The younger plumber stared at them in his hands and that's when he got an idea. He opened the box, put the toothbrush in his pocket along with the feather, and walked back to the bedroom.
"Hey, what took you so long?" Mario asked, walking over to his brother.
"I told you, I was washing the sweat off my face," answered Luigi. "So, what time is it now?"
" It's only 10:04. We still have about twenty-six minutes."
"Good, because there's something I'd like to do."
Luigi said nothing. Instead, he actually pinned Mario down on the ground.
"Luigi! What are you doing?"
"Oh nothing," snickered Luigi. "I'm just doing my turn."
"Your turn to what?"
"To do the tickling."
Mario widened his eyes, but remembered something.
"Luigi, may I remind that you're more ticklish than me?"
"No, I don't think I'm more ticklish than you," said luigi. "I think I'm just as ticklish as you, but in different ways."
"What do you mean?"
Luigi ignored him, pulled Mario's shirt up and began tickling his sides, making him giggle instantley.
"Luigi! Stohahahahahahahahap it! Cut it out! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!"
"Sorry, no can do," the younger brother said, as he shook his head. "You tickled me when I begged to stop, so why can't I?"
"Nohohohohohohohoho! Knock it off! Ahahahahahahahahaha!"
The younger plumber stopped tickling his brother and grabbed the feather from his pocket. Mario widened his eyes.
No! Luigi, not THAT!"
Luigi then stroked the feather on Mario's belly while he used his other hand to tickle his sides. The plumber immediately started laughing.
"OH NOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO! STOP LUIGI! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Mario shouted. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! STOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"I have to admit, Mario, you're cute when you laugh," snickered Luigi, before moving the feather in his brother's belly button.
"OH NO! NOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO! LUIGI STOP!" laughed Mario. "STOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Now do you know how I feel about you tickling me?" Luigi asked, as he stopped tickling him. "That's something we have in common. We HATE being tickled, but we enjoy tickling EACH OTHER."
"And P-Peach... and Daisy did it t-to us..." Mario panted. "...Are y-you... done... now?"
"Just one more thing..."
Luigi grabbed the electric toothbrush and used it to tickle Mario's belly button while he used hi other hand to wiggle his fingers around his belly.
"MAMMA MIA! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! LUIGI! THAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAT'S ENOUGH!" Mario shouted. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! STOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!"
"Calm down, Mario," chuckled Luigi. "It'll be over soon."
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! STOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP IT! I CAN'T BREATHE! MAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAKE IT STOP! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Suddenly, the tickling stopped. Mario was gasping for air before Luigi helped him up.
"I told you it'd be over soon."
Mario then smiled. "You know what Luigi, you were right."
"Right about what?"
"That maybe we're both as ticklish as each other. And that we hate being tickled, but like tickling each other."
"Told you," Luigi nodded, before he and his brother looked at the clock, which said 10:30.
"We should get to bed now, Little Bro," Mario pointed out, heading to his bed as his brother did the same.
"Okay, Goodnight, Mario."
